Important Update for Our US Customers

Due to recent changes in US import tariff regulations, Australia Post has temporarily suspended all parcel services to the USA and Puerto Rico.
This suspension comes into effect immediately (26th August 2025) and unfortunately means that we are unable to ship Zoopeez orders to our American customers until further notice.
Why has this happened?
The US Government has introduced new rules (Executive Order 14324) requiring:
- The removal of the USD $800 de minimis threshold (meaning all goods, no matter the value, will now attract duties and taxes).
- Mandatory customs declarations for all items.
- Duties and taxes to be prepaid before parcels enter the USA.
Currently, Australia Post and many other international postal operators (including Zoopeez) do not have the systems in place to pre-collect these fees, which is why services have been paused.
What this means for you
- Orders to the USA and Puerto Rico placed from 26th August 2025 onwards will not be processed. Our website will currently state we do not ship to the US
- Shipping to all other countries remains unaffected.
We know this is incredibly disappointing — we’re just as sad not to be able to send your custom pet goodies right now. Our American Zoopeez family means so much to us, and we promise we’ll be back as soon as possible.
